Sorry for posting twice, I am just so excited. In previous purchases, I had at least one parent with me, and I've always purchased used cars in the past.

I'm glad I was able to get my Mercury back home before the dealership closed though.

I like how simple the interior looks on it, how's the audio system?

For only having two speakers it sounds pretty good. It has an aux input too, which is nice.

Yeah, Aux is pretty nice. One of the first things that I changed on my A4 was getting a radio with an aux jack.

Oh man, I was SO NERVOUS when I took it out of the dealership. And driving it home, and shouting at every other vehicle on the road. Its the first Golf MK7 they sell in the city, and I am adoring it. I know you smile as much as I do when I arrive to it to take it for a spin.

Congrats. Good choice on the transmission. If I remember correctly, Nissan made 6 speed manual standard across their cars, right?

It's basically an essential these days, thanks to our phones/iPods/etcetera. The simplicity of the interior was a big selling point for me, I test drove a Sentra first and it had a bit too many features for my fancy, even in the base model (I'm sure that sounds ridiculous...)

Nope, the Versa and Versa Note get a 5-speed manual in the good ol' U.S. of A.

I saw your face in the selfie you took before it was delivered to you, that was the pure joy I experienced today. When I was test driving, I almost curbed it coming out of the parking spot. I would have probably shot myself if I had.

It also helps that my A4 ONLY had a casette player and the Fm/Am radio. That confuses and troubles me greatly.

We get the Versa (Tiida) in Mexico with a 6 speed unless it is the base model. That's what made me think all of the cars above were 6 speed.

This car really would benefit from a 6th gear, on the highway its at nearly 3,000 RPM at only 60 MPH.

I like your car. I've rented numerous Versas and I prefer them over most of its competitors. Also, I love your enthusiasm for doing things on your own. It is exciting. I bought my first new car in 1991 (I'm old). It was an Escort GT. I loved it until some clown ran a red light and totaled it. I was truly bummed. I bought a Saturn SL2, which I also liked. Later in life I bought another Escort GT for fun and modded it up.

Congratulations!!!

Thank you!! I have rented Versas before as well, the only part I didn't like was the CVT which I fixed as you can see.

I am about to turn 20, working 2 jobs and going to college while living in an apartment 600 miles away from home, so I don't have a lot of time to myself. Cars are my passion and it feels fantastic that this one is 100% me.

Haha, I try to avoid EVERY puddle, and pothole in town. Trust me, this place is filled with them.

My Note was built in Aguascalientes, so it probably saw what you were talking about on the way here. It's going to have a pretty easy life here in the Florida panhandle.

Hohoho, Aguascalientes is NICE. He was born somewhere beautiful, but yeah, he may have seen things NO Versa note should've. Surprised it hasn't got diarrhea'd.

Is it? I haven't the slightest idea, I moved to the U.S. from England 9 years ago and I've only left Florida twice.

Oh man, Mexico is an amazing country. I seriously cant imagine myself anywhere else, and you know what? Last year My town, not my county or state, but my TOWN ALONE won the prize of most dangerous place to live in the world. Yep, the worst, and you know what, I love it. I love the Mexican way of things, how it has evolved to actual modern standards, the food, the wealth you can acquire, and the beaches of coarse.

Nice! Haha. I wonder if Nissan offers tours of their plant in Mexico, that would be one hell of a roadtrip.

I know they do of the Puebla plant were my car was made, and I guess there is something Nissan does thats similar. Worth going to Mexico even if there isn't a tour though! I recommend the Capital, or the state of Merida.

Actually, I later figured out that the Note has 4 speakers as standard. But the $11,990 Versa sedan base model has 2.
